The Tool Logic T1 Tech Light is a handy little clip-on pocket single 5mm LED light that includes a couple of handy tools tucked into its flat housing. On one side is a mini slide-out ball point pen and on the other is a snap-out double sided mini Phillips and regular screwdriver. On top is the click-on, click-off switch and on the back is a removable clip for attaching the light to your day planner, ball cap, or to your cash as a money clip. The batteries are coin cells and are replaceable with the use of the included screwdriver. On the end of the light opposite the LED is a molded in loop that allows the Tech Light to be attached to your key ring. The body housing is plastic and is dark green in color.

Detailed Information:

The Tool Logic T1 Tech Light is a handy little clip on light. Tool Logic is becoming famous for producing little gadgets that have numerous functions in a form factor that is different from the standard "Swiss army knife". This is just another fun little iteration of that theme.

The body is made of green translucent plastic and seems relatively durable. The slide out ball point pen does work and can really be handy in a pinch. The tiny screwdrivers have a hexagonal plastic grip around the middle and are the right size for eye glasses and also for the screws on the back of the Tech Light for battery changes! The clip on the back is removable in case you want to attach it to your keys instead of clipping it on something.

For light, the Tech Light uses a single 5mm white LED which casts a soft glow over a short distance. The switch on the top has a really good feel and is recessed in a divot to help prevent accidental activation.

The light really isn't all that water resistant, so keep it out of the rain if possible.

Removing the back cover with the included screwdriver reveals two 1216 coin cell batteries that can be replaced. You will probably want to replace them after 3-4 hours of constant use, which translates to "you'll probably lose it before you have to replace the batteries" for most folks!

What I Liked: Handy tools/accessories, Clips on, Easy battery change, Lightweight, Great switch

What I Didn't Like: Not water resistant, Not all that bright, Kind of cheesy construction but not too bad.

Other Things I Noticed:

Conclusions: What can I say? A handy little clip-on light with a couple of useful little tools. It comes in a nice presentation tin, so it would be a great little gift for those hard-to-buy-for people you know.
