MINI-REVIEW
(short, quick, and to the point)
The L0P SE is essentially the same as the L0P, so I'm
not going to repeat myself here. Please
see the L0P review for the basic details of this
light.
The primary difference is the new 3-level light output
system. When you first turn the light on, it is in "medium"
mode. A quick twist off-on from the head and you are
now in "low" mode. One more quick off-on twist
and you are in "high" mode. The primary advantage
here is battery conservation. The light uses PWM (Pulse
Width Modulation) to effect the dimming, which results
in a sometimes-noticeable flicker from the LED.

Bezel/Head:
Output: The beam is identical to the original
L0P.

Runtime Plot:

on runtime plots is available HERE.
Switch: Twist the head for on/off and to select
the three output modes.
Ergonomics:
Size compared to a common 2AA aluminum light
Batteries: A single AAA cell powers the light.
To change out the batteries: unscrew the head, drop
out the old cell, place in new cell observing proper
polarity. Reattach the head and you're ready to go.
Accessories: A lobster claw, split ring, and
O-ring are included in the very nice presentation box.
Impressions: I very much like the 3 modes of
output. This adds a lot of utility to an already good
light.
